XPMode and 24bit color

Posted by essjae on October 8, 2009

The default for XP mode is 16-bit color, but everyone “needs” 32-bit color.

But what about 24-bit color?  That’s easy in XP Mode, just a reg edit:

[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Windows NT\Terminal Services]
"ColorDepth"=dword:00000004

(thanks JPC)
